The University of Derby
(formerly hat school of Art and Technology or just hat College) could be a public university within the town of hat, England. It traces its history back to the institution of the hat Diocesan establishment for the coaching of Schoolmistresses in 1851 and gained university standing in 1992 in concert of the new universities.

Early years
Over the years, twenty-four bodies have contributed to the university's formation.
